Trinidad Corcel Year Of The Horse (PCC) - Box of 18

The Trinidad Corcel marks a historic first: the Trinidad brand's inaugural special release created to honor the Chinese Lunar New Year. Named for the horse — corcel in Spanish — this exclusive Habano draws its spirit from the strength, freedom, and endurance that the horse embodies in Chinese tradition. For collectors and aficionados marking the Year of the Horse, it is an essential piece. The Corcel introduces an entirely new vitola created exclusively for this release — the Patricios, a 55 ring gauge × 5 5/16" Parejo finished with a traditional pigtail cap. The generous ring gauge promotes even combustion and a compact, firm ash, while the medium-body blend delivers the refined, harmonious profile that has always defined the Trinidad house character. Tasting notes: Honey and cedar on the open, deepening into toasted wood and light cream through the middle, with a smooth, refined finish that carries the Trinidad signature elegance to the last draw. Packaging and Modern Innovation Each box of 18 is presented in an artfully designed red-and-gold luxury wooden humidor case, blending traditional Asian symbolism with the prestigious visual identity of the Trinidad brand. The result is a presentation object as considered as the cigar inside it. NFC Authentication. An NFC chip is embedded directly into the wooden case. A single tap with a smartphone verifies the cigar's official authenticity through the Habanos S.A. network and unlocks exclusive product information — a modern answer to the counterfeit risk that accompanies any limited Habanos release of this significance. Zodiac Band. In addition to the classic Trinidad band, each cigar carries a dedicated gold-and-red foot band marking its place in the Chinese Zodiac series — a beautiful detail that distinguishes this release visually from the standard Trinidad portfolio and makes each individual cigar identifiable as part of the Corcel edition. The Number 8,888 The global production limit of 8,888 boxes is not incidental. In Chinese culture, 8 (八) is the most auspicious number — its pronunciation in Cantonese and Mandarin closely resembles the word for prosperity and fortune. Four eights compound that significance, making 8,888 a deliberate and meaningful tribute to the cultural tradition this release honors.
